Air Zoom Flight ’98 The Glove Black

THE ICON THAT CHANGED ’90S BASKETBALL IS BACK

AIR ZOOM FLIGHT 98 “THE GLOVE”

Originally built for Gary Payton during his dominant Seattle SuperSonics era, The Glove changed the game in 1998 with its bold zip-up shroud and locked-in, glove-like fit. Now, after more than a decade away from retail shelves, the brand brings back the original Black / White / University Red colorway for Fall 2026.

The signature full-zip neoprene shroud conceals an internal lacing system for a secure, performance-driven feel, while the iconic white Swooshes strike sharply against the black upper. Beneath the hood, Zoom Air cushioning and a carbon fiber midfoot plate deliver lightweight responsiveness – true to its late-’90s performance DNA.

WHEN IT’S ON YOUR FEET, THE ENERGY HITS DIFFERENT

Born in the golden era of late-’90s basketball and engineered for one of the most relentless defenders the game has ever seen, The Glove carries more than performance – it carries presence. The bold zip-up shroud, the locked-in fit, the unapologetic black-and-white contrast – every detail speaks of confidence. On foot, it doesn’t whisper nostalgia; it commands attention. Each step echoes Gary Payton’s defensive intensity, blending hardwood heritage with undeniable street authority. This isn’t just a retro brought back to life – and worth every penny!
